I need to replace my coil (zündspulen) and HT leads on my 1993 R80 GS-PD. I have a late model coil : Bosch dual output not the grey one but the one with red binding posts fitted on twins from 1985 onwards. BMW Part number 12 12 1 244 426.
Anybody knows a good replacement for this coil ?. I am looking for a straight fit so I don't have to cut the frame or bracket. I have read that K100 and R1100 coils would fit.
I would like to know about the Silent Hektik upgrade....if anyone has fitted it. Just the coil and the whole upgrade.
