We are discussing a Q on tuned airheads, having a problem with pitting on gearwheel on inputshaft and on 5'th gearwheel on outputshaft after appr 50kkm. Are there any diffrences on pre and post 1981 gearboxes that could help extending the gearwheel renovation interval.
Another Q. If the clutch are slipping on a 1981- engine, any tips on cure?
On the other hand, a slipping clutch can save gearboxex and final drive ;-)
