I've got a very similar configuration (jugs, cam, ignition timing) but with stock airfilter and two wide snorkels.
Don't know about the jetting but I use NGK BPR7ES and DR7ES plugs.
That's how HPN initially equipped the engine and the plugs always look o.k.
Fuel consumption always below 6l/100km if I avoid the Autobahn.
