Maybe I didn't explain myself good enough. My bike is a 1971 R75/5 with 5speed gearbox and 11/32 gearing. It´s got no fairing what so ever. So anything above 110km/h (@app 4200upm) is a down right pest. I never cruise(not even on highway) above this speed; simply because of the pressure from the wind. 95% of my time is spent in moderate pace on smaller roads. For instance like going to the beach, driving in the woods and stuff like that. And in these cases I've found that, all i never need is looowwww end torque... I have all the top end power I need and I´m wiling to give some of it up...
Clemens you´re right on :
"http://w6rec.com/duane/bmw/engine.htm" the specs tells us that the inlet valve on r60 is 38mm and on the 750-800cc's the inlet valve is 42mm. So there´s difference allright...

Thanks
Niels

Ps. Is it possible fitting the VW Touareg V10 TDI engine to my Kreidler :-)
