I have tested the HP2 today. My first impression is...
Objective experience:
+ Lightweight, strong engine, good gearbox.
- "Ruckeln" between engine/gearbox when on/off
the gastrottle, especially at low speed.
Subjective feeling:
Probbably very great for hardcore gravel-driving, but it's >not< an allrounder "für jedermann".
My summary:
If I wanted a big strong >gravel-racer<, then ok!
If I wanted a real life >adventurebike<, then no!
(This impression is strictly- and only compared to my fullspec' HPN Rallyesport).
Will I then concider to change my HPN Rallyesport for a new HP2..? No, I will not! When climbing onboard my HPN after testing the HP2, I started smiling (!) again. That special feeling of driving a real HPN still makes me sit with a >big smile< on my face, and that's even after many years as a HPN owner. I did >not< get that same and very special feeling from driving the HP2. This is my personal impression, and other people might feel different than me...
