Hallo everybody!
I'm getting crazy with four roller bearings mounted on my 1989 r80gs kardan transmission.
due to a road accident they were damaged so I wanted to change them, but unfortunately I suddenly realized BMW does not provide such spare parts.
so I went to a bearing shop and they told me those bearings are not of common use.
THE QUESTION:
does anybody of you guys know where I can find those bearings?
I would not like to spend too much to buy a new cardan transmission, you know...
I've already pulled the bearings off but they do not show any trade mark on their surface. I supposed they were custom made by INA in Germany, but I was wrong: they sent me some but they were different
internal diameter is 13mm and they have originally 23 rollers inside.
definetely, if there is no way to get it repaired, I could buy a second hand kardan transmission , only if in very good conditions.
any suggestion is welcome!
