If there are any kind of bends on the fuel-line,
even the very smallest bend, can restrict the fuel-flow so that your carburetors do not get enough fuel for high-speed conditions where the fuel-consumption is at it's maximum.
Thus, be sure that the fuel-line is routed in "as stright line as possible" down to the carburetors.
